EPHC Priority Projects

The EPHC has identified Australia's national environment protection and heritage priorities for the next decade. The key priority issues for immediate attention are:

EPHC also reinforced the importance of taking action to improve water quality and will work closely with the Natural Resource Management Ministerial Council to address this issue.

Priority projects are defined projects that arise from the priority issues identified above. Current priority projects include Plastic Bags, National approach to the Management of Chemicals, Waste Tyres, Heritage Roles & Responsibilities, National Strategy for Promoting Sustainable Heritage Tourism, Heritage Incentives and Innovative Policy Tools, and an Action Plan to Advance Reconciliation,
